Grad pictures
Grad pictures will take place the week of December 6 - 9th (take note that the 9th is a professional development day but students can still sign up to have their picture taken that day. This is a great option for those girls who want to do their hair before the photo without missing class time). Grade 12 students need to sign up this week for a 10-minute photo session. Students must pay the $20 sitting fee when they arrive at their photo session. Students will have pictures taken in the blue grad gown with the gold stole (boys: wear a shirt and tie, girls: wear a blouse that can be tucked under the gown: no turtlenecks) as well as pictures taken in dress or casual clothes. Depending on the photographer, student proofs may include poses of students sitting, or standing; close ups and long shots. Therefore, they need to be dressed appropriately from head to toe. If you do not want your child's photos to show dirty runners or ripped jeans, be sure he/she is not wearing those that day. Having said that, many of our students choose to have their 'non gown' pictures taken in more casual clothes such as jeans and a nice shirt. That is up to you and your child.
You will receive the proofs in the mail and can then order the prints that you want.
Grad Rings
On Thursday and Friday, October 27th and 28th a representative from Josten's will be here at lunch to take orders for school rings. If your son/daughter is interested in purchasing a school ring, a deposit of at least $60 is required at the time of ordering (cash, cheque, credit card or debit). Rings start at $99 and, depending on the stone, metal composition, ring size, and engraving, can increase in cost significantly.
Grad Theme Song
Attention Grads: If you have an idea for a Theme Song for Grad, please submit the music and lyrics to Ms. Coco. You can email it to her, or submit a printed copy and a CD. All submissions must be in by December 9.

Attention Grads
Attention all Grade 12's. All grads are required to bring in their favorite baby pictures as well as your favorite quote that relates to moving on with your future, by the deadline of December 1st for the Grad 2012 video. Please turn them into Mrs. Saive at the front office enclosed in an envelope with your names printed on the front.
Grad Parent meeting
