The Work Experience Program

Work Experience is an off-campus education program where grade 10, 11 and 12 students will be able to learn employability skills in the workplace. The program consists of three courses, Work Experience 15, 25 and 35. Students may obtain between 3 to 10 high school credits in each of these courses. (25 hours of Work Experience equals one credit). Career Transitions (CTR 1010) is a prerequisite module for Work Experience.

A student can potentially gain 30 credits if they receive 10 credits in each of the three courses. Alberta Ed will recognize up to 15 credits towards a high school diploma.
