The Science Option Courses


Forensic Science 25 (3 credits)
Forensic science is the study and use of basic scientific concepts and technologies related to solving crime in society. Through the study of forensic science techniques, learners are given the opportunity to explore and further understand how basic scientific concepts apply specifically to the solving of crimes.


Psychology (3 credits)
Learn about what makes us tick and what influences our actions and responses. This 3-credit course develops the skills and understandings of effective living in our complex world. Students will focus on the scientific approach to understanding human behaviour so that they may appreciate more fully the reasons that underlie their own acts and the actions of those around them.
