All science students will be charged a $5.00 fee for personal protective equipment (P.P.E) that must be worn for labs
involving chemicals.
Science students will be expected to develop an understanding of:
• the key concepts and principles of science that transcend the discipline boundaries
• the processes by which scientific knowledge is developed
• the interdependent relationships of science, technology and society

Biology 25 IB
Topics include classification, evolution, plant science, photosynthesis and cellular respiration.
Biology 20/20 IB
This course consists of four units of study:
• Matter and Energy Exchange in the Biosphere
• Photosynthesis and Cellular Respiration
• Ecosystems and Population Change
• Human Systems
Biology 30/30 IB
This course consists of four areas of study:
• Nervous System and Endocrine System
• Reproduction and Development
• Cell Division, Genetics and Molecular Biology
• Population and Community Dynamics
